National Vocational Certificate in Cosmetology (Level 2)

The Essential Starting Point This foundational program provides a broad mastery of both hair and beauty therapy. It is designed for those entering the industry who want to become versatile professionals capable of handling various salon services.

Duration: 1 Year (Full-Time)
Credits: 126 NQF Credits
Key Modules: Shampooing & Conditioning, Elementary Hairstyling, Hand & Foot Care (Manicure/Pedicure), Facial & Cleansing Services, Basic Make-up, Skin Anatomy, and Colour Theory.
Entry Requirements: Grade 9 or 10 with 18 points and an “E” in English and Mathematics. (Minimum age: 16 years).

National Vocational Certificate in Hairdressing (Level 3)

Advanced Specialization & Artistry Take your skills to the master level. This qualification focuses deeply on advanced chemical services, precision cutting, and salon leadership for those who have completed their foundation training.

Duration: 1 Year (Full-Time)
Credits: 86 NQF Credits
Key Modules: Precision Barbering, Advanced Hair Cutting & Styling, Chemical Straightening & Relaxing, Permanent Hair Colouring & Removal, Hair Extensions, and Salon Management Calculations.
Entry Requirements: Successful completion of Cosmetology Level 2.

Mon – Fri | 08:00 – 14:00

Structured for intensive hands-on practical training.

Admission

Standard: Gr. 9-11 (18+ pts), Age 16+

Mature Age (23+): Aptitude Test required
