1. Do I need any previous experience for Short Courses? +
No formal qualifications or previous experience are required for our Short Course modules. They are designed for beginners who want to learn a specific skill quickly, as well as professionals looking to refresh their techniques.
2. Is Emerald Training Centre NTA Accredited? +
Yes! Our Full-Time National Vocational Certificates (Level 2 & 3) are fully accredited by the Namibia Training Authority (NTA). This ensures your qualification is recognized by employers and the NQA across Namibia.
3. Are the training kits included in the course fees? +
Course fees cover your tuition and the use of the Training Centre’s professional tools and products during practical sessions. However, personal training kits for home practice are not included and can be purchased separately.
4. What is Mature Age Entry? +
If you are 23 years or older and do not have the required Grade 10 or 11 school results, you can apply through our Mature Age Entry path. This involves an Aptitude Test in English and Numeracy.
5. Can I study while working? +
Absolutely. We offer flexible learning schedules, including Evening Classes (17:30 – 20:00) and Saturday Classes (14:00 – 17:00) specifically designed for working professionals.
